Our story
ClickSentinel started in June 2025 not as a SaaS product, but as a small internal tool to track clicks on a personal Google Ads campaign — back then, the project was called ButtonTracking.
The original problem was very specific: ad budget was being burned by clicks with no clear origin, while Google Ads and Google Analytics couldn't tell which clicks came from real people and which were bots. The first version simply logged who clicked what and when — enough to see raw numbers, but not enough to answer "is this traffic even real?"
Over more than a year of development, that simple click tracker gradually gained real-time traffic quality scoring (0–100), VPN/datacenter/Tor detection, and duplicate/velocity anomaly detection — needs that came directly from running real ad campaigns, not from a pre-written product roadmap. That's when the project was renamed ClickSentinel and expanded into technical SEO audits, Google Search Console integration and website monitoring, to more fully answer the original question: where does this traffic come from, is it good quality, and is the site technically healthy for SEO?
Today, ClickSentinel is still built with that same mindset — solve a real problem first, then package it as a feature — and offers a Free plan that's enough for individuals, freelancers and small businesses standing exactly where this project started: needing to know whether their ad or SEO traffic is real before spending more money.

How is my data protected?
Full IP addresses are never shown in public reports, Google OAuth tokens are encrypted before storage, and you can export or delete your data at any time. See our Privacy Policy for details.
